Hays Hills Young Singles

Wednesday night bible studies have been full of people, and full of great discussion.  There have been some questions about the bible and salvation.  Our focus has been on the Bible’s creation and reliability.

As I discuss with others about what to teach on Wednesday one question keeps coming up, “What is a Christian?” and “What does a Christian Believe?”

Wednesday 6/15/2011 Billy Phelps taught about the Gospel, the Good News.  This sets us apart from other religions because The Good News is that God came down and became man, to die for all men.  We are going to talk more about what and how Christ saved us in the next few Wednesdays.

My hope is that everyone will learn the truth of the Bible and Christianity, and feel comfortable to ask questions to get there.

We are having a BBQ June 4th @ 6:30 pm. 

This is our summer kick off event.  We will have bacon burgers, herb grilled chicken, and gourmet beef hot dogs.  There will be grilled vegetables and a crisp spinach salads, with ice cream floats for desert, yum

There will be Volleyball, kickball, card games, and a mancala tournament!  With Drawings and Prizes for the Winner.

No one goes home empty handed!

HH Young Singles is starting Wednesday Bible Study April 6th at 7:30 pm.  We’ll worship with Bryan Moore in the youth room and then have Bible Study afterward.  If you can’t make worship come at 8:00 pm for the study.

The Bible Study will be about how modern media can shape our theology and at the same time cries out for God.
